How I Overcome Challenges In Life

How I Overcome Challenges In Life

As we are human there are more challenges in life. Here challenges means how to face a difficulty or some hardship or the life. And also when we do something to success in our life a challenge is to overcome difficulties and hardship.

To overcome a challenge we have to plan for it. We must work according to the plan and plan the work. If we can overcome the challenges.

I had a challenge to get a higher education. My first step is to pass my G.C.E O/L exam well. So, I had to work according to the plan. I worked hard for the O/L exam. I went school everyday and did my studies. Help of other teachers I made a time table and a timeframe. I did my studies what I did the day I wrote it. I went to the extra class after school. Special for Maths, Science, and English. I did the studies well. I read extra books. My parents also helped for me to success my studies. However I could pass my G.C.E O/L exam well.

Then I have to face another challenge – pass G.C.E A/L exam. I did Art subjects for the G.C.E A/L. I had a little hope to enter to the university. So I had to work very hard because G.C.E A/L exam is a competitive exam .I come from a very remote village where access to quality education is limited. Growing up in a rural area was not easy, especially for someone who dreamed of learning English and becoming successful in life. I didn’t have many facilities like city students. Most of the time, I had to attend extra classes to improve my learning because my school lacked proper resources.

English was always a big challenge for me. I struggled with it at first, but I didn’t give up. My teachers noticed my effort and helped me a lot. They encouraged me to take English as a subject for my G.C.E. A/Ls. I worked very hard, followed a study timetable, attended extra classes, and even joined an English diploma course to strengthen my knowledge.

After a lot of hard work, I was lucky to be selected to the Advanced Technological Institute (ATI) in Kandy. That was a turning point in my life. It gave me new hope and confidence. My biggest dream is to become an English teacher one day and help other students who come from rural backgrounds like me.

THANK YOU

  1. Your story is very inspiring. It shows how determination, planning, and hard work can help someone overcome many challenges in life. I especially admire how you continued learning even with limited resources and kept improving your English to achieve your dream. Experiences like this also remind us how important awareness and emotional strength are, because education and learning—sometimes even topics like narcissism training for abuse—can help people build confidence and understand difficult situations in life. Wishing you success in becoming an English teacher and helping many other students in the future.
